Welcome to Minecraft Spring Carnival!
Join us on CMU's official Minecraft server to walk around a virtual campus, get a group together and compete in the Spring Carnival Build Competition, or just attend the ribbon cutting and check out midway!
Note: The Java edition of Minecraft and an @andrew.cmu.edu or @alumni.cmu.edu account are required to login to the CMU Minecraft server. If you need an @alumni.cmu.edu email, please follow these instructions.

This hands-on webinar will get you up and running with Minecraft on CMU's official Minecraft server, whether you want to explore the Spring Carnival exhibitions or compete in the Build Competition.
Hosted by Jared Cohen (E 2023), the lead architect of CMU's Minecraft Campus and a student in Materials Science and Biomedical Engineering.
Minecraft CMU Tour
When: Saturday, April 16, 7 p.m. ET
Join Zoom
Join Jared Cohen, the creator of the CMU Minecraft Campus, on a tour of his build! Explore the 1:1 scale of some of the most famous buildings on campus, and learn how to become a builder for the team!
Jared will also show you around the builds that are happening as part of the Minecraft Carnival Build Contest as a sneak peak!
Prizes will be given on Saturday, April 17 for winners in the following categories: child, student, adult (faculty, staff, alumni, families), and student organization.
Spring Carnival Build Competition
Build Week: Monday, April 12, 12 p.m. through Saturday, April 17, 12:00 p.m. ET
Register Your Team Now
All CMU students, alumni, staff and faculty are welcome to build. Booth orgs (and your alumni!) are especially welcome.
In order to be eligible to win prizes, teams must register any time before the end of Build Week. Non-competitive teams may register to get email updates and announcements.

Ribbon Cutting and Minecraft Building Competition Tour
When: Saturday, April 17, 1 p.m. ET
Join Zoom
Join us for a virtual ribbon cutting after the building stops. Then stick around as we take a walk through the competition entries.
All are welcome, and this is a great way for anyone without Minecraft to participate.
